Serato Studio crash reports are easily accessed from within the application, by navigating to Help > Generate Report, which you can learn more about from the Intro - Help section of the Serato Studio user manual.
This report can help our Support team diagnose issues and report bugs, however in rare circumstances, you may sometimes not be able to open the application at all and it may crash on launch, meaning you cannot access the in-app Generate Report function described above.
Locating Serato Studio crash reports
In order to capture crash reports generated by Serato Studio, without opening the application, please follow the steps below, depending on your operating system:
macOS:
- Navigate to Mac HD>Users>USERNAME>Library>Application Support>Serato>Serato Studio>Reports
- Inside the reports folder, locate the .dmp file with a 'Date Modified' that matches the time or day you experienced the crash, then attach this to a reply to an existing Support ticket, or create a new request to seek assistance.
