We are aware of an issue whereby Serato Sample may not sync correctly to your project BPM, in FL Studio, on computers with macOS 11 Big Sur, macOS 12 Monterey or macOS 13 Ventura that use Apple Silicon (M1/M2 series)

The BPM in Serato Sample may show an errant value when synced, that does not align with your project BPM. This issue occurs due to Serato Sample running 'out of process', given that FL Studio on macOS runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1/M2 series) hardware, while Serato Sample wants to be run in the emulated Rosetta 2 layer.

UPDATE

The issue above affects Serato Sample 1.4.0 and earlier.

As of Serato Sample 1.4.1, you can now run the plugin natively, without having to use the Rosetta emulation layer. Please update to the latest version, or find out more in our Serato Sample 1.4.1 - now with Apple Silicon support (M1/M2) article.
