Serato Sample can be activated on your main computer, and on a secondary or back-up
device - allowing for 2 simultaneous activations. You can also trial the plug-in for 30 days.

Activate

1. Download and install Sample
2. Open your DAW and create a virtual instrument track with Serato Sample
3. Open Serato Sample and click Get Started. This will launch your default web browser 
4. Enter the email address and password of the Serato.com account where you purchased Serato Sample, then, click Sign in, and then Continue at the last prompt
5. Navigate back to Serato Sample

Deactivate

The steps below provide instructions on how to deactivate Serato Sample from within the plugin. You can also deactivate Serato Sample via our How to deactivate your Serato products & licenses to use on another computer article.

1. Open your DAW, then open a project with Serato Sample, and open the plugin
2. Click the My Account icon in the upper right corner, then choose Log out

Buy or Subscribe

1. Download and install Sample
2. Open your DAW and create a virtual instrument track with Serato Sample
3. Open Serato Sample and click Get Started. This will launch your default web browser
4. Enter the email address and password of your Serato.com account, then, click Sign in, then Continue at the last prompt
5. Return back to Serato Sample and click Buy or Subscribe, which will open your default web browser again. Choose your purchase preference and follow the prompts to complete the purchase, ensuring the email address for purchase is the same as your Serato.com account
   NOTE: Subscriptions are only supported if using Serato Sample 2.0 and later
6. Head back to Serato Sample once purchase is complete, where you’ll notice a License active notification, click OK or the x to dismiss this pop-up

Trial

1. Download and install Serato Sample
2. Open your DAW and create a virtual instrument track with Serato Sample

3. Open Serato Sample and click Get Started. This will launch your default web browser 

4. Enter the email address and password of your Serato.com account, then, click Sign in, then Continue at the last prompt
5. Return back to Serato Sample and click Start Trial
   • NOTE: Click the “..days left in your trial” banner to check the duration remaining in your trial, or click the arrow in the notification to dismiss the pop-up
