How can we help?

KNOWN ISSUE: Some Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 devices may fail to connect to Serato DJ Pro

We are aware of an issue that can result in a failed connection when connecting a Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX10 to Serato DJ Pro 3.0.4 or higher, on both macOS and Windows computers

Affected customers will not be able to establish a connection with their DDJ-FLX10, even after installing the correct drivers and meeting all other conditions for a successful connection to Serato DJ Pro, and may additionally see the following error message in the yellow status bar at the bottom of Serato DJ Pro's user interface, among others:

  • Windows: Failed to connect: MIDI
  • macOS: Error loading MIDI Xml

This is due to an earlier batch of devices shipping with a lower than expected firmware.
Serato DJ Pro 3.0.4 or higher requires a minimum firmware version of v1.11 for the DDJ-FLX10 to connect, so any firmware version above 1.11 will ensure your FLX10 can connect to Serato DJ Pro without the above issue.
