Adding Camera and or GUI inputs to your OBS Scene is a great way to make your steam look professional.

Adding Video inputs to your Scene
NOTE: Adding more sources to your Scene increasing the impact on the computer and could lead to performance issues.
Webcam
- Click the ‘+’ sign and select 'Video Capture Device' from the dropdown menu.
- Check ‘Create New’ to add a new device. You can name this what you want.
- Use the dropdown menu to select your USB webcam or built-in 'Facetime HD Camera' from the list.
- Once the device is located, click 'OK' to add the image to the scene.
- The video input will likely need to be resized. Do so by clicking on the corner of the video and dragging it to the size you wish.
iOS
OBS requires you to install an IOS camera plugin and app on the phone it's self. They have a full setup guide here - https://obs.camera/docs/getting-started/ios-camera-plugin-usb/
Once you have installed the IOS camera plugin on your computer, and the IOS App on your phone, follow the steps below to set up in the Video Input.
- Click the ‘+’ sign and select 'IOS Camera' from the dropdown menu.
- Check ‘Create New’ to add a new device. You can name this what you want.
- Plugin your iPhone via the USB with the OBS app open on it.
- Use the dropdown menu to select your IOS Device.
- Once the IOS device is located, click 'OK' to add the camera to the scene
- The camera input will likely need to be resized. Do so by clicking on the corner of the video and dragging it to the size you wish.
Android
The Andriod setup process is more complicated as it requires an IP Webcam application. There is a full setup guide on the OBS forum here - https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/android-webcam-guide-for-obs.56

- Check ‘Create New’ to add a new device. You can name this what you want.
- Use the dropdown menu to select your Device.

- The camera input will likely need to be resized. Do so by clicking on the corner of the video and dragging it to the size you wish.
GUI capture
- Click the ‘+’ sign and select 'Display Capture' from the dropdown menu.
- Check ‘Create New’ to add a new device. You can name this what you want.
- If you have multiple displays connected, use the 'Display' drop-down menu to select the display you wish to capture.
- Once the display is selected, click 'OK' to add the display capture to the scene.
- If the capture needs to be resized, do so by clicking on the corner of the video and dragging it to the size you wish.
