Serato Studio allows users to import and create Patterns in the form of .mid files to quickly fill out notes in the Drum, Instrument and Sample decks
macOS' Finder or Windows Explorer, or alternatively via the files tab.
Note: Serato Studio supports both .mid and .midi files.
To load a Pattern, simply drag and drop the file from the library files panel, onto the notes area of the Drum, Instrument or Sample Deck.
NOTE: .mid files with multiple channels will only load the first channel
NOTE: Midi notes will only load to the available scene length
You are able to save patterns that you have created in a Drum, Instrument or Sample Deck for use in other projects.
Right-click on the note area in the Drum, Instrument or Sample Deck and select 'Save Pattern' from the context menu. A new Pattern file will be created in the Patterns Tab of the library.
