Serato Studio supports a variety of different audio formats and resolutions. Here are all Audio File Formats supported in Serato Studio:

• FLAC
• AIF
• AIFF
• WAV
• AIFC
• MP4
• M4A

Serato Studio also decodes the audio from following video file formats. 

• DV*
• MPG*
• MPEG*

NOTE: Tracks protected by DRM are not compatible with Serato Studio

* Denotes file formats where metadata can not be directly written to the file in Serato Studio. These formats can be edited and saved in your Serato Studio library. Metadata will not be directly written to these file types, and as such will not be readable when using other Serato software.
This directly affects metadata such as Beatgrids, which will instead be saved to the project, in the case of the aforementioned file formats.
