Serato Play settings
- Use Split Headphone Cable: Enable this to allow pre-listening of audio via the use of an stereo-to-2x-mono audio splitter cable (also known as a 3.5mm jack to Y splitter 3.5mm socket cable) - when using this, connect the LEFT mono split cable to your headphones, and the RIGHT mono split cable to your speakers (or 'master'), then toggle the respective HEADPHONE CUE button to pre-listen to that respective source, and use the CUE LEVEL to adjust the headphone cue volume.
Click the Headphone Cue button in each deck, once the Use Split Headphone Cable option has been enabled, to send deck audio to the headphone output when using a splitter cable.
Use the Cue Level knob to adjust the volume of the monitored signal.
NOTE: Some users have suggested that disabling audio enhancement settings for your audio output device on Windows can prevent unexpected audio bleed between left & right signals, when using the Split Headphone Cable setting. If you experience this symptom, configure the following: Control Panel > Sound > Headphones Properties > Advanced > Signal Enhancements > Enable audio enhancements (DISABLE). - Serato Play Hotkeys: Enables Serato Play Hotkeys Mode. This mode allows for control of mixer features and playback functionality using alternative keyboard shortcuts. You can also turn on Serato Play Hotkeys by pressing ALT with + (respective of 'Playback Keys Use Shift' setting)
Click on View Keys to display keyboard shortcuts.
View our Serato Play Hotkeys article to view the shortcuts online - Crossfader Assign: Click to Assign the channel output to the left or right side of the crossfader. Un-assign the crossfader per channel by clicking the appropriate button again.
