How can we help?

Main Screen Overview

The performance view is the main screen in Serato DJ for iOS. It shows two virtual decks, your waveforms, transport controls and performance pads. This page covers the track information and waveform displays, and how to change the app's appearance.

Track Display

When a track is loaded, the deck header shows the track name, artist and album art. If a deck is empty, the header shows Tap to load songs.

Next to the header you'll find:

  • BPM — the current BPM, including any tempo adjustment you've made.
  • Key — the key of the loaded track. Change how keys are written under Advanced Settings > Display > Show Key as, with a choice of Camelot or Open notation.
  • Time remaining — how much of the track is left to play.

NOTE: In portrait orientation there is less room, so BPM and time remaining are shortened. Rotate to landscape, or hide the virtual decks, to see more precise values.

To adjust a track's beatgrid, tap the cog icon in the top right and choose Edit Beat Grid.
