Serato DJ for iOS runs on iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later, and on iPad with iPadOS 18.6 or later.

Before you install Serato DJ for iOS from the App Store, check that your device meets or exceeds the recommended or high performance specifications below, depending on how you plan to use it.

Minimum operating system

Recommended specifications

• iPhone 15 or later
• iPad Air (4th gen) or iPad (10th gen)
• iOS or iPadOS 26 or later
• 2 GB of free storage
• A USB-C to USB-C cable to connect DJ hardware

High performance specifications

• iPhone 17 Pro Max
• iPad Pro (M5, 2025)
• iOS or iPadOS 26 or later
• A USB-C to USB-C cable to connect DJ hardware

Serato DJ for iOS may work on devices that do not meet these specifications. 

NOTE: We recommend iOS 26 or later. Some features need it. For example, sending the master output to your device speakers, Bluetooth, or AirPlay from the iOS audio output menu while supported hardware is connected requires iOS 26 or later.

Connecting DJ hardware

Not all Serato DJ Pro hardware is supported on Serato DJ for iOS. Hardware that needs a driver for audio cannot be used. Check Serato DJ for iOS supported hardware list before you connect.

NOTE: Some DJ hardware will not connect to an iPhone with a Lightning port, even through a powered camera adapter. Some lower-powered iPhones, such as iPhone SE (2nd generation), may not be able to power some bus-powered hardware.
