An Auto Loop is a loop of a set length, measured in beats. You can set Auto Loops from the Auto Loop pad mode or the Loop button.
Set an Auto Loop with the pads
- Press Pad Mode and select Auto Loop.
- Tap a pad to start a loop of the size shown on that pad.
Each pad shows the loop size it triggers. The sizes depend on your license:
- Free mode: 1, 2, 4 and 8 beats.
- Suite: 1/8 to 16 beats.
Set an Auto Loop with the Loop button
Press and hold the Loop button to open the Loop Size selector, then tap a size. Tap the Loop button to turn the loop on or off.
How Auto Loops behave
The loop snaps to the beats Serato DJ detects in the track, so the loop is the right size even if you tap slightly out of time. Tap the active loop size again to turn the loop off. Choose a different size while a loop is active to change the loop length. Only one loop can be active on a deck at a time.
