To create a Cue Point
Make sure the pad mode is set to Hot Cues. While the track is playing, tap an empty Cue pad. If you are using Serato DJ hardware, you can also press a Cue Point pad that corresponds to an empty Cue Point slot.
To use Cue Points 5 to 8, switch to the second pad bank / row.
NOTE: Cue Points 5 to 8 are not available in Free mode.
The Cue Point pad will update to show that there is a new Cue Point set. If connected, your Serato hardware will illuminate the pad that corresponds to the physical hardware Cue Point pad (where applicable):
To delete a Cue Point
- With Hot Cues selected, tap Pad Mode, then tap EDIT.
- Tap the delete / - icon on the pad for the Cue Point you want to remove.
If you are using Serato DJ hardware, you can also hold SHIFT and press the corresponding Cue Point pad you wish to delete.
When you have the Quantize feature turned on, Cue Points will snap to the Beatgrid as you set them. To turn Quantize on, tap the cog icon in the top right corner, then tap Quantize. You can adjust the number of beats allowed between each Cue Point set under Advanced Settings > DJ Preferences > Quantize Value.
NOTE: Quantize is not available in Free mode.
