There are many ways you can add files to your Serato DJ for iOS Library.
The easiest way is to transfer your library from your Serato DJ Pro/Lite library on your computer. Alternatively, you can add files that are already on your device.
Adding songs by transferring from your computer’s Serato DJ Library
- On iPhone tap “Tap to load song”
- Tap “Transfer & Files”
- Tap “Transfer”
- In Serato DJ Pro/Lite on your computer click the arrow next to “iOS Transfer” and you should see your device.
- Drag a crate to the device.
- On your iPhone or iPad tap “Allow” when prompted whether your computer can modify your Serato Library.
- Stay on the transfer screen while the transfer completes.
- Once the transfer is complete, you can close the transfer screen.
- The crate you transferred should now be in your Serato DJ for iOS library.
Adding songs locally from your device or Cloud Services (Dropbox, Google Drive etc.)
You can add songs that are stored locally on your device or stored on Cloud Services such as Dropbox, Google Drive or iCloud.
NOTE: You will have to have the Cloud Services application installed and signed in to use files from these services.
- On your iOS device tap "Tap to load song"
- Tap “Transfer & Files”
- Tap the “Import Songs” button if you want to import specific songs, or tap “Import Folder” if you want to import a whole folder of songs.
- A “Files” app window will open; navigate to the files or folder you want to import
- Select the files or folder you want to import. Note: you can select multiple files using the checkboxes that appear.
- Once you have selected the files or folder you want to import, tap “Open”
- Name the crate you want to add these to and tap “Save”. If you imported a folder, the crate will be named after the folder automatically.
