The Relocate Lost Files button is located in the Files panel. If you’ve moved the location of files that are already in your library, they will show up as not found and be displayed in orange. Clicking on the “Relocate lost files” button will scan your entire computer for missing files. 

NOTE: Clicking the Relocate Lost Files button will also search through all attached drives for missing files. This may take a very long time depending on the size of your Serato DJ library and the complexity of your hard drive file organization.

Once this is completed the database updates with their new location.

You can also relocate files from a specific folder on your computer. To do this, click on the “Relocate from folder” button and then navigate to the folder which you suspect has the missing tracks in it. Once done, hit the return key on your keyboard and Serato DJ will begin the search.

IMPORTANT: Turn off the Show iTunes Library option under Setup > Library + Display before proceeding with using the Relocate Lost Files feature. A failure to do this may cause duplicate entries to appear in your library after relocation has completed. You may turn the preference back on after relocation has finished.
