Serato DJ Pro may suffer from (small) GUI freezes during playback, when a strong light is shone into or near the ambient light sensor on Touch Bar MacBook Pro models from the 2016/2017 range.

The workaround is to disable the 'App Controls' Touch Bar setting for the keyboard, which can be accessed via System Preferences --> Keyboard --> Keyboard tab --> Touch Bar Shows.
