KNOWN ISSUE: Denon MCX8000, Numark NV, NVII, & NS7 III screens do not display correctly with macOS 10.15 Catalina

We are aware of an issue whereby built-in screens on some devices do not work correctly when used with mac computers running macOS 10.15 Catalina & Serato DJ Pro. The following devices were previously recommended as 'supported' with Serato DJ Pro 2.3.0 and above:

  • Denon MCX8000
  • Numark NVII
  • Numark NV
  • Numark NS7III

Symptoms can range from incorrectly displayed track overviews to missing portions of the waveform.

We do not believe the issue is caused by Serato DJ Pro and it has been raised with Apple but we do not have an expected time frame for a fix.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but recommend any users with these devices do not yet update to macOS 10.15 Catalina.
If you've already updated we recommend that you roll-back to macOS 10.14 Mojave.
