We are currently aware of issues that certain users on macOS 10.15 Catalina are experiencing when using the new Apple 'Music' / iTunes integration with Serato DJ Pro 2.3.0 and above.
It seems that some users with large and/or very complex Apple Music / iTunes libraries are most affected.
These issues were not reproduced during testing, but we are currently investigating reports from users.
As a result of this, we recommend users who have not yet updated to macOS 10.15 Catalina, and rely exclusively or mostly on Apple 'Music' / iTunes integration for their library in Serato DJ Pro - do not update their OS yet.
The most common symptom is a slower than expected load time of the Apple 'Music' library into Serato DJ Pro. For some users it may appear that the library is not loading - so we strongly suggest being patient when waiting for the library import to fully complete.
Another, less common symptom, is that some users are reporting a hang when trying to close Serato DJ Pro. We recommend waiting for the library to full import before closing Serato DJ Pro.
