UPDATE: Both of these issues have been resolved in a patched version of Serato DJ Pro 2.1 / Serato DJ Lite 1.1. We strongly recommend you update your Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite installation by re-downloading it - even if you've already installed Serato DJ Pro 2.1 or Serato DJ Lite 1.1.
------------------------------------------------------------------
We are aware of two issues that result in files going missing in your Serato DJ Pro 2.1 or Serato DJ Lite 1.1 library, they are as follows:
1. Tracks imported from an external drive, a partition of your internal drive, or a secondary internal drive may change locations after you restart Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite.
In order to illustrate the issue more clearly, consider the example below:
- You connect an external USB storage device with some new music on it to your computer.
- You launch Serato DJ Pro 2.1 or Serato DJ Lite 1.1, and import the new music into a new crate, note that the files imported show D:/newmusic under the Location column.
- After restarting Serato DJ Pro / Lite - you may notice the file path has reverted to match your system drive. The files will now show C:/newmusic, and once you attempt to play them, they will show as missing.
2. Using the Relocate Lost Files can result in missing files being deleted from your library.
Please re-download Serato DJ Pro 2.1 or Serato DJ Lite 1.1 versions again:
